Being in the right position at the right time is key to every winning shot. In today’s game, every millisecond counts which is why the new REACT models are packed with multiple design features to create the fastest and most manoeuvrable rackets on the market.
If you’re looking to dominate on court and control every rally, get into position early. REACT FASTER, PLAY HARDER
Building on the success of our TC series “D“ beam cross section, the REACT models streamline even further to create a perfect blend of ergonomic and aerodynamic function.
Further lowering the frames air resistance, three key areas of the REACT throat have been specifically designed to allow smooth passage of air compared to traditional block radius corners.
The REACT models all feature a new recessed end to our popular over frame grommets. Both aesthetically pleasing and practical, the new design creates clean aerodynamic edge surfaces.
Smoother than Matte, slicker than Gloss, the REACT mid sheen paintwork offers incredibly low resistance to airflow on all shots.
Increasing stiffness on impact and enhancing feel, “REACT fibres” are strategically woven into the high modulus carbon used around the hoop of the frames. Closely aligned with our K7 Aramid fibres, the new REACT fibres provide a level of comfort on par with our foam filled models but without the added mass.

I have only had this racquet for just over a week, and own a K7 Red and K7 Lime, the K7 lime is a great at the net for volleys, but has become too heavy for me. My trusted K7 Red is my go to racquet and preferred from the baseline, with a fantastic feel but lacks. bit of power hence my desire to find something that is a blend of the old Red 7 Lime and hence wanted try another Angell racquet the REACT MP Pro 99, which indeed has more power from the baseline and serve and is also great at the net for volleys, however I do find it more hard/stiff, and have not found that same great feeling from the old red racquet which could of course be my string setup which is hybrid strung at 23kg, I should have thought of the larger head size and probably lowered the tension a bit. All in all I would still highly recommend.

Cards on the table: I’m not a highly skilled player – well into my 70s and only play doubles. Having been using a TC100 (itself an excellent racket) for 7 years, I thought it would be interesting to see what Paul has developed since. I opted for the MPP frame so, at 18×19, a denser string pattern than the TC100. After talking to Paul I had it built at 290 gms and 6 pts HL. It has been strung with Gosens Multi CX and I am delighted with the result. Punched volleys are despatched crisply, as are reaction volleys, the racket being extremely manoeuverable. Touch shots are equally effective. With ground strokes I can produce both power and spin, while serves can be accurately placed and delivered with spin as needed.

I’m delighted with my decision to go with React MP Pro 99. The feel is superb and the consistency from the string pattern is better than anything I’ve used before. But what makes this racket special is more about the total package; the best comparison I can make is that it’s like going from a standard family car to a really well-designed sports car. Everything feels connected, and the design and finish is so sleek that you have the feeling that the frame is only ever working for you, never getting in the way. Highly recommended!
