KENJI IIMURO –
Its “mid softness” might be “slightly stiffer” in these days (full of “soft” polys). Simple round shape and smooth surface (and stiffer composition) give so much snapbacks resulting into spins. 1.20 gauge means good bites too. On the othe hand, these great spin potential would require players to hit so hard to send the balls over the net. Thin gauge also means relatively large tension drop after a session. Suitable for heavy hitters ready to re-string often (reasonably priced for frequent re-stringing).

The string provides good power and great access to spin. Similar to some Solinco strings, but again, with more power and spin. Durability is up to par with the other brands out there; I’m a pretty heavy spin player and find the string maintenance and playability to last quite a while. Definitely give it a shot if you’re looking for something new!
